Birthing Stories (5.9.16)
I began writing in 2008. My goal is to write stories for babies in the womb up to children who are age 7. I also hope that the people reading these stories to little ones will enjoy hearing these tales. I have written 19 narratives to date and am working to publish the first two – Loblolly, Loblolly, You’re So Tall and Vegetable Chatter.
The first birth is typically the most difficult, or challenging, because we are learning new sets of skills as a parent. I’m planning to have the first two “babies” [books] out in the public domain by the end of this year. Following are the titles of stories that I have written and plan to self-publish before I turn 100. (LOL)! Additionally, I also act as the art director and work with fabulous fellow artists to co-create the illustrations and co-design these books from cover to cover.
- A Magical Walk
- Atlantic Ocean, My Old Friend
- Foodcycle
- I Love Parades!
- Loblolly, Loblolly, You’re So Tall
- Magical Things
- Martha the Mourning Dove
- Mother Earth
- Tara & Bella
- The 12 Days of Walking
- Top Feed, Mama! Top Feed!
- Vegetable Chatter
- Webmasters
- Where’s Gigi?
There are 5 additional books that I have written that are not listed at this time, because I don’t want any of my peers to duplicate the concepts. 😉
As I read on a bumper sticker today, “Parenting is forever. Plan it.” Let the births begin!
