Damara^® Publishing is a small independent publishing company created by Mommy Moo Moo^® to print, publish, and market Mommy Moo Moo Board Books. Mommy Moo Moo wanted to name her publishing company Holicow Publishing; however, there is already another publishing company with a similar name. While Mommy Moo Moo was meditating on creating a new name, Damara came to her mind. Damara is a Celtic fertility goddess whose name means “gentle.” Mommy Moo Moo first learned about Damara from working with Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D. According to Doreen, Damara helps bring peace and harmony to families and reminds children of their youthful faith and innocence. Mommy Moo Moo felt like Damara was the perfect inspiration and guide to meet her goals to connect people with people, people with nature, and people with the earth through storytelling.
